Why we built Frank
We experienced not one but two disastrous building projects that all but bankrupted us. Both times we prepared rigorously, took advice, and proceeded with caution.
When we spoke to friends and family about it, almost everyone had a builder horror story of their own.
For homeowners the stakes are high — hard earned savings, disruption to your home and life, and the worry and stress that comes with it. It has to be worth it. Yet you are at a disadvantage from the start. Of all the people involved, you are the only one who has never done it before. In spite of reassurances, committing your money inevitably feels like a leap of faith.
